Brad Hogg's 1952 Austin of England A40 Somerset Saloon

When I was very young, my family bought an old car from our neighbours. I helped my brother tow it home with the tractor. We lived on the farm so we could get away with this kind of thing. Nothing was ever done with this car for a number of years. When I was in high school, I took interest in the old beast and did enough tinkering to make it run. I drove it around the farm a little while but time and interest wained. Although I've moved away and I am now 300 miles from the car, I have never forgotten it. This page shows a few pictures of the car and a scan of a certificate I got from Britain showing information on the car. The car was originally purchased from Westport Chrysler in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
