This website was created to honor the Chrysler New Yorker. In 1938, Chrysler Corporation introduced the New Yorker Special which soon became known simply as the New Yorker. This nameplate lasted until its discontinuation, 58 years later, in 1996, At that time, "New Yorker" was America's longest continuously used nameplate.

If you own or simply admire the Chrysler New Yorker, you should join the New Yorker Online Mailing list.
